Situated on corner of Bishopsgate and Liverpool Street, across the road from the Great Eastern Hotel the White Hart offers a reasonable venue were the secret is definitely the downstairs bar.  The ground floor bar is a good size, there are plenty of tables and chairs.  In the summer months there are a couple of tables and chairs down the side of the pub with a view to the hotel opposite.  Being on Bishopsgate the rush hour provides a constant stream of people, this is good entertainment.  The bar staff are very friendly and service is swift, but the bar gets very busy late on during the week.  

If you get the chance, head for downstairs, this is the original cellar of the pub and a beautiful piece of London history, the buildings which now comprise the pub can be traced back to 1550.
