The Rising Sun pub, Cater Lane, City of London

The Rising Sun in Cater Lane, is a small traditional no frills boozer, with a single bar offering very well kept ale; London Pride, Bombardier, Spitfire and Youngs. Despite being close to St.Pauls, only the occasional tourist wonders in. There is always plenty of activity in Carter Lane to observe from the window if you’ve just popped in for a quickie. There is seating to the left and right of the bar where you can enjoy the Thai food offered from the bar and pretty reasonable it is to. Service is always swift and prices are reasonable for the City, all in all, a decent pub.
