The Red Lion probably
has the worst outlooks of any pub in the
City, but don't be put off, the lack of passing trade makes this an
interesting City venue.
Bing a Nicholson's Cask Marque accredited the ale should be of a good
standard, I had a London Pride on Monday at 1pm, probably the first of
the
ten guests downstairs to do so and it was still a reasonable pint. But
be
warned, on a previous visit no ales available and on another, the pub
was closed due to a 'toilet flood'! But as I say, don't me put off, many
visits have been a good deal of fun and good drinking, especially Thursday
nights with the Karaoke. |
