The Bunch of Grapes, or as it's known know, The Grapes is located just behind Leadenhall Market on Lime Street, in the shadow of Lloyds of London, which, presumably explains why almost all the clientele carry blue folders stuffed with important looking documents, brokers of some kind.
The main entrance off Lime Street has a pretty mosaic floor just inside the door and then a warn carpet stretching the length of pub.  The bar is to the left and runs virtually the whole length of the bar, the ceiling carries the grapes theme as do the four large copper lights overhead.  The beer was reasonably well kept, we had Bombidair and London Pride, both too cold, but proved fine after warming through by hand.
If you are a tourist looking for an interesting, authentic English pub with history, then give this a miss.  If you are a tourist looking for a small, dated, City of London pub where things haven't change for the last 20 years, stuffed full of middle aged blokes with blue folders, then The Grapes is the pub for you.
