Lcated in a modern building on Black Friars Lane The Evangelist is a modern, tastefully presented City pub. Blackfriars Lane occupies part of the side fo the Dominican monastery of the Black Friars which stood here between 1276 and 1538. The monastery became one of the most famous places in London. |
