The Bell

The Bell, 29 Bush Lane, City of London, EC4R 0AN

The Bell Today

The Bell is truly one of the last remaining pubs in the City. If you want to know what a decent pub should be like, you must visit The Bell. Stepping into the single saloon bar is like stepping back in time, there is a beautiful traditional feel to this small pub.

The sandwiches are the door stop variety and make a perfect accompaniment to a pint of ale. There are a couple remaining in the City of London, but pubs like this are become few a far between.

The Bell Past

The Bell has stood on this site since the Great Fire of London in 1666, there is a list of landlords since 1668 on the wall and this only adds to the pleasure of the pint.
